School Board, Tucker 2014, Community Clean Up in the Week Ahead

The DeKalb Board of Education will hold a called meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11 at the DeKalb County School System's Administrative & Instructional Complex, 1701 Mountain Industrial Blvd., Stone Mountain. More information can be seen online.

Celebrate the 238th birthday of the United States Marines. "Enjoy a free light buffet at 6 p.m. followed by the Marine Honor Guard ceremony at 7 p.m." Monday, Nov. 11, American Legion Post 207, 4127 Pine Valley Rd., Tucker.

The monthly dinner meeting of the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers will be at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11 at Piccadilly Cafeteria, Tucker.

Join the Annual Tucker Community Clean Up on Saturday, Nov. 16. "We will be picking up trash along Main Street, Idlewood and LaVista as well as weeding the flower beds along Main Street. Reflective vests, trash grabbers and bags will be provided. Please meet in front of Tucker High School at 9 a.m."
