Rainy National Night Out In Tucker

The crowd is small but the concept is big. Outside Target in Tucker, locals gathered in the rain Tuesday evening to participate in National Night Out, an annual initiative that rolls out in neighborhoods all over the country to unite residents against crime.

DeKalb County Interim CEO Lee May was there. "It's good to raise awareness of the good things going on in the county," he said to Patch as he surveyed various law enforcement units who came along to show off their sophisticated equipment.

Asked how his new job was going, May said, "very good, on nights like this."
