Have you driven down Main Street lately? Do you ever want to drive down Main Street again?

I can truthfully say that I am very disappointed in the new main street. The loss of lanes for traffic and the curbings that stick out too far making turns tricky has left me unimpressed.

I now make it a point to avoid Main Street. Instead of this re-design making me want to patronize businesses there, I drive around it or cross over it. I know I don't want to try to park there and back out into a single lane while avoiding those curbs that are just the right height to damage my car.

I consider this project to have been a waste of my tax dollars.
