Kim Cunninghis, Neighbor

Kim is an Authorized Facilitator for Darkness to Light, Stewards of Children: Child Sexual Abuse Prevention training program and volunteers for the Sandy Springs Police Department. She has been facilitating since 2006 and volunteering since 2009.

As a child advocate, she educates adults on how to “prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.”  She has trained over 2,000 individuals from parents and teachers to juvenile probation officers, police officers, firemen and those in the medical profession. Kim is a Florida native who first landed in Atlanta in 1976.  Since the mid-90’s, Kim and her family have lived in North Fulton, the UK, and Virginia.  She has been a Sandy Springs resident since 2004.
