  Roommate and I used to come to this place each weekday morning with a copy of The New York Times and The Washington Post a piece, order two bagels with cream cheese and cinnamon do nothing. Very good place. I graduate in '05. That was... seven years ago. Jesus Christ.

  Team Plato's, 2003-2005, represent. This diner was my jam in college: "I'll have a BBQ cheeseburger with fries, a bowl of chili and a piece of cheesecake, no crap on it, please."

  I've never had a better burrito – though I can't say I've had a burrito anywhere else. Chipotle is great so long as you're OK with downing about 2,000 mg of sodium (nearly all of your recommended daily amount) in one sitting. If someone figured out how to make these things using local produce, poultry and meat, they'd cut down the sodium and life would be one burrito closer to perfect.

  The Cookie Studio is wicked good. I used to work right next door, and whenever I screwed up and ticked someone off, I would go to The Cookie Studio, buy a few oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, come back and say, "I have these leftover Cookie Studio cookies. Take a few." They're get-out-of-jail freecards.
