I am originally from Boston but relocated to Atlanta in '99 and received a Bachelor's in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech. After graduating, I worked in marketing for a while, designing for print and web mostly, but also dabbled in multimedia, video, and motion graphics. For a large part of my career, I worked in performing arts as a dancer, choreographer and educator. I've worked locally as a freelance designer for the last few years, working on some cool projects for Creative Loafing, GSU Bikes and Greenplate. In 2009, I went back to school as a full-time student at Georgia State. I was accepted into the graphic design program on an art scholarship to work on my M.F.A. Some of my work has been seen in the Summer Graduate Art Exhibition this year including a Flash Mob Experiment and Graphic Installation. I also had a short documentary screened at Eyedrum last spring.

Much of my current work focuses on the influence of art and design on mainstream culture. Specifically, I focus much attention on art in public spaces and guerrilla marketing. Last summer I began writing a blog about art and design posting my thoughts and experiences in the industry and in art culture. My passion for writing has grown exponentially and I'm truly excited to work with Patch and look forward to bringing the Brookhaven art scene to life!

Other than searching for the true meaning of art, I'm also a graphic design instructor at Georgia State teaching introductory courses in design and typography. Some other wicked talents of mine include cooking and wine tasting, watching epic battle movie marathons, and doing doggie dog things with my super cute pups, Xena and Pete.
