Bring your used books to the market to donate to the Friends of Tucker Library book sale.
The Tucker Farmers Market rolls in to the Bank of America parking lot at 2333 Main Street today from 4-8 p.m. Here's a sample of some of the vendors setting up shop: Also, bring books for donation to the Friends of Tucker Library book sale that will be held on Oct. 20. After Nov. 1, arts and crafts vendors will join food vendors for holiday shopping opportunities.

It's gonna be a fan-furry-tastic week at the Tucker Farmers Market! It's Pampered Pet Week, and we will be spotlighting all your furry friends*. Some market vendors will have special pet products on hand, and we will have a couple of guest vendors offering non-food pet products. You’ll also be able to meet representatives from local animal hospitals. Best of all, we will host rescue organizations who will bring adoptable pals. Maybe you’ll find your new best friend! Tucker Civic Association will be signing up volunteers for the Fifth Annual Rivers Alive Clean Up.
Thanks for a much better turn-out last week at the Tucker Farmers Market. We are hoping it's the start of the trend, and that we'll see you this week, too! Just a quick reminder: We are extending our season into December. The last market will be Dec. 13, 2012. In the Community Booth, you'll find the Tucker Civic Association signing up volunteers for their Fifth Annual Rivers Alive Clean Up on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. - noon. On select days and times, the TFM will receive a portion of the proceeds from these restaurants. It's a big week at this popular local street market.
First, we have two great new vendors. Freedom Farm & Fruit from Murray County, Georgia, is bringing freshly picked Gala apples and pears. Mama J's Produce will bring hydroponic lettuces and herbs.
