What's Going On at Tucker Farmers' Market

The market is today, May 16, on Tucker's Main Street.

This week at the market: More than 35 local amazing local food vendors 4-6 p.m: Music from the Diesel Calhoun Band "Bluegrass/Americana/Honky-Tonk Acoustic Music. We play originals, traditionals, and covers from Earl Scruggs, Dell McCoy, Bill Grant, Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen, The Byrds, Junior Brown, Hank 3, John Prine, Merl Haggard, Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash." 6-8 p.m: Music from Jeff Fritz and Brian Feeney Jeff writes and sing songs for the world. Music is an international language and Jeff’s thing is peace and Rock and Roll. Jeff hails from Fort Wayne, Indiana, but lives and plays in Atlanta now. Tucker Farmers' Market Features Musician Andy Liechty

That, and the Musical Petting Zoo returns!

Tucker Famers' Market on May 9 will have more than 35 amazing local food vendors, plus...music by Andy Liechty. Liechty is a multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter who stays true to his roots honoring his heroes in every performance. He draws from a wide variety of influences such as Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings, Elvis Presley, Pearl Jam and Neil Young. Sound provided by Atlanta Musicians Exchange, who will be on hand with instruments for sale.  Atlanta Music Education's musical petting zoo with hands-on style instruments for kids to try out. Tucker Farmers' Market Starts Second Year

The market is back in its usual spot on Thursday afternoon.

On Thursday, April 4, 2013, the Tucker Farmers' Market will open for its second season. The market will continue to operate from its central location at 2333 Main Street in the Freemasons Square and Bank of America parking lot. The market will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Thursday until December 19. Music from Cicada Rhythm Tucker Farmers' Market is proud to announce the return of Cicada Rhythm to our market to kick off the 2013 season. Tucker Hosting Christmas Festival on Thursday

Christmas on Main Street is an annual event hosted by the Old Town Tucker Merchants' Association.

Come on out on Dec. 6 and see Main Street in Tucker transformed into a winter wonderland!  From 6 to 9 p.m., the Old Town Tucker Merchants' Association will be hosting the annual Christmas on Main Street festival and this year is promising to be better than ever. Santa Claus will be in attendance for all of the kiddos and the Great Tree will be lit for the holiday season. The Tucker Farmers' Market will be open during the celebration and Main Street will also be lined with craft and food vendors. There will also be a station to decorate Santa hats from OTTMA and ornaments by the Tucker Historical Society.   All of this will be held on Main Street under the glow of Christmas lights with the beautiful sounds of choirs to get you in the …
