The Chamblee Bulldogs rallied from double digit deficits three times, but the No. 1 ranked Columbia Eagles held on for a 57-53 high school boys' basketball win at Chamblee by hitting five of seven free throws in the final 53 seconds. Columbia (16-1) which trailed 10-9 at the end of the first quarter built leads of 13 (32-19 at half), 15 (34-19 early third quarter) and 10 (46-36 after three quarters), but could not finish off the resilient Bulldogs (8-6) until senior All-State point guard Tahj Shamsid-Deen and Kiair Crouch teamed up to hit five of seven free throws down the stretch.
