Tucker Sweeps Clarkston in Region 6-AAAAA Basketball
Tigers picked up a pair of wins on their home court this week.
High school basketball is well underway as schools prepare for the holiday break and Tucker picked up a pair of wins in Region 6-AAAAA action on its home court this week. Davonte Fitzgerald hit for a game-high 19 points and Jabari Craig added 17 points and 12 rebounds on the way to a 70-45 victory in boys’ action. Fitzgerald hit for nine of his points in the first quarter including a pair of dunks and Craig added four points as the Tigers jumped out to an 18-2 lead in the opening frame. The first points by Fitzgerald came on a dunk as guard Cameron Meyer found him flashing to the basket to get the Tigers (5-2 overall, 3-1 region) off to a big start.
