Author Ted Brooke Speaks to Historical Society

The meeting will be on Monday, Sept. 10 at the Tucker Recreation Center at 7 p.m.

In continuing our celebration of Tucker's 120th anniversary this year, we have a guest speaker for our September meeting.   Ted Brooke, who now resides in Cumming, is a Tucker High School graduate of 1961, a Tucker Historical Society member and author. He will talk about his newly published book, "Cemetery Records of Tucker, Georgia and Environs (DeKalb and Gwinnett Counties)." His book covers 33 cemeteries within a four mile radius of Main Street in Tucker. We welcome Ted and look forward to hearing about his experience on researching and writing this book.
