The Stephenson Jaguars play host to the Tucker Tigers at Hallford Stadium on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in the first ever meeting between the two DeKalb County powers. Both teams enter the game ranked in the Class AAAAA polls. The Tigers (5-0) are at No. 2 while the Jaguars (4-0) are ranked No. 4 as both teams come out of a bye week. The two teams are both 4-0 in Region 6-AAAAA play. Tucker has won two state championships in the past four seasons (2008, 2011) including last year’s perfect 15-0 team. First year head coach Bryan Lamar has led the Tigers to a 5-0 start, including 4-0 in Region 6-AAAAA action.
