Several new members have been added to the board.
The Tucker Business Association (TBA) this week introduced its 2012-2013 board of directors. Bill Rosenfeld, owner of Rosenfeld Jewelry, is now serving as president of the association, effective Jan. 1, 2013. Burke Brennan, chief communications officer for DeKalb County, who served as president of the association in 2011 and 2012, moves to an ex-officio role. Now that we are officially in the holiday season, I wanted to remind everyone of the exciting stuff we have coming up over the next month or so. Saturday, 1 Dec. 5.30 p.m. Tucker Business Association, along with the Main Street Tucker Alliance and the Tucker Historical Society, will be judging the Downtown Tucker Business Holiday Decorating Contest. Businesses within the downtown area, as defined by Brockett Road, LaVista Road, Lawrenceville Highway and Tucker Industrial Road, are encouraged to celebrate the holidays with festive and imaginative decorations for their windows and buildings. Volunteers are needed to review Tucker-area storefronts for holiday festooning. Judges will meet at Matthews at 5:30 p.m. to begin the judging for first…
