Jamese Abney scored 19 points to lead the Redan Lady Raiders to a 60-42 Region 6-AAAA home victory over Chamblee on Tuesday. The win improves the No. 2 ranked (MaxPreps) Lady Raiders to 11-0 on the season and on a collision course in Region 6A-AAAA action against Class AAAA No. 1 ranked (MaxPreps) Columbia on Friday at Columbia. Redan forced 11 first half turnovers and Brea Elmore scored 11 points as the Lady Raiders ran out to a 28-13 halftime lead. Trailing 4-3 with 4:38 to play in the first quarter Redan went on a 12-2 run to finish the period with Abney hitting a three-pointer and Elmore completing a three-point play in the run.
