Phi Kappa Phi welcomes three locals.
The following local residents recently have been initiated into the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Alex Boal initiated into Phi Beta Kappa at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia.

Eduardo Mares of Tucker has been named to the Fall 2012 Dean's List at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Ga.
