Tucker Opens Pre-Season Scrimmages Friday

Chamblee completes the preseason lineup for DeKalb County Schools' football programs with the addition of a scrimmage against Bainbrige on Friday, Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Bainbridge. All 19 DeKalb County football teams now are scheduled for preseason tilts in preparation for their season openers. The schedule begins on Friday, Aug. 10 as Tucker and Stone Mountain open up the pre-season scrimmages. Tucker travels to face Chattahoochee at 7 p.m. in a matchup of the past two Class AAAA state champions, while Stone Mountain goes to Cobb County to take on Wheeler at 7:30 p.m. Ten teams go on the road next weekend (Friday/Saturday, Aug. 17-18) to play their scrimmages around the Metro Atlanta area while Adams, Hallford and Panthersville allow …
