Big Music Night Friday at Old Tucker Fountain
Friday's headliner is Riley Beiderer, a young singer recently signed to Elton John's production company.
Mike Holcomb, owner of the Old Tucker Fountain on Main Street, is determined to ramp things up musically at the venue. There is already live jazz on Thursdays at lunchtime, and live bluegrass on Sunday evenings. But Friday, Aug. 10 is going to be a little different. A line-up of rising pop, rock, and country musicians will perform, among them Riley Beiderer, a young prodigy from Cumming, Georgia who caught the ear of Elton John and was recently signed to his production company. “They think big things are possible for Riley," her father told Cumming Patch in a profile of the artist last year.
