Tucker Footballers Win 'Sports Champions' Award
The award is given annually to outstanding senior athletes.
Two players from the Tucker Tigers are honorees of the annual Sports Champions of Greater Atlanta award, it was announced by the organization. Jacob Sealand and Josh Dawson are recipients of the award, given to high school seniors "who have shown outstanding performance in athletics, achieved a high level of excellence in their scholastics and have shown good character by representing their team/school well," according to the SCGA website. Part of the award includes a contribution of $500 to each honoree's school to be used in their chosen sport.
