Shuttle Pilot Eric Boe's Return to Space

Former Tucker resident shares his thoughts about his past and the upcoming Discovery mission.

"The second time is a charm," said U.S. Air Force Colonel and space shuttle pilot Eric Boe when asked how he felt about his return to space on shuttle Discovery's last voyage. Colonel Boe said he's looking forward to appreciating what he missed from his first mission on board shuttle Endeavor, launched in November 2008. "I want to pick up on the smaller details which I didn't get to do on the first mission because I was so busy and everything was so new." Growing up in Tucker A transplant from New Jersey, Colonel Boe relocated to Tucker in 1974 at the age of seven.
