Tucker Swimmer DeLoache Finishes in Top Ten
Chamblee's Kemenov takes gold at state swim meet.
Senior Alex Kemenov captured the 100 yard breaststroke state title at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center on Saturday to lead the Chamblee Bulldogs to a seventh place finish in the Class A-AAAAA State Swimming and Diving Championships. Kemenov swam a time of 57.93 in capturing the gold medal while also taking a fourth place finish in the 50 yard freestyle (21.10). He was also part of the Bulldog 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay teams that finished third and sixth, respectively. Kemenov teamed with Nicholas Oh, Jordan Jacob and Wesley Cheung in the 200 to swim a time of 1:28.43. Oh, Mathew Williams and Cheung were part of the sixth place 400 relay team with Kemenov.
