Tucker Swimmer Breaks County Records

High school swim team is making waves.

Tucker High School is well known for its prowess and winning tradition on the football field. After Cash Deloache’s weekend performance in the DeKalb County Swim Meet, the Tucker High School Swim and Dive team is beginning to make a big splash too.   Deloache broke two county records on Saturday: the 100M Butterfly and the 100M Backstroke. The previous records were held by Lakeside swimmers Jack Lane (2009) and Chris Read (1997) respectively. The Tucker High School student won the 100M Butterfly in a startling 50.50 seconds and won the 100M Backstroke by racing to a 52.52 second time.
