Northlake Mall Cancels Carnival
Citing concerns about issues with the carnival company at other Atlanta locations, the mall has decided to reschedule the carnival with a different vendor at a date to be announced.
Northlake Mall has canceled the carnival that was scheduled to open today through July 17, a mall spokesperson said Thursday. The mall hired Mega Midways, a Georgia carnival company, through KevaWorks, a California amusement consulting firm, said Sarah Funderburk, a spokeswoman with BRAVE Public Relations, an Atlanta company that represents the mall. After KevaWorks learned of issues Mega Midways had managing other Atlanta-area carnivals, the company and the mall decided Tuesday to reschedule the carnival with a new company, Funderburk said. She said she did not know specific problems area clients had with Mega Midways, and a KevaWorks representative did not immediately return a call for comment.
