Burglars hit Dollar General twice on Monday night, then an armed robbery occurred on Tuesday.
A store in Tucker was targeted by criminals three times this week, leaving a shaken staff but no injuries. A police report states two unknown males entered Dollar General on Hugh Howell Road on Monday, May 13, at approximately 8 p.m., and stole merchandise from a stock room by wheeling it out the back door on a roll trailer. They returned at 3:30 a.m. and did it again, and all of it was captured on video. There was no forced entry, police said. On Tuesday afternoon, a man entered the store and put a black semi-automatic handgun to the head of a cashier. "Open the drawer, give me the money, open the drawer," he told the cashier, according to the incident report. The cashier was unable to open the drawer because she had no key. The suspect …

There have been cases of violent behavior and lawlessness involving THS students recently.
Several disturbing cases of student misbehavior and violence have recently taken place involving students form Tucker High School. Last week there was a bad fight between two boys in the cafeteria during lunchtime, and Patch heard reports of a similar incident earlier this week. Another recent fight, on the school grounds after classes let out for the day, caused serious leg injuries to a teacher who tried to break it up. Last fall, half a dozen students were charged for breaking and entering into nearby houses when they should have been in class. Is there a pattern here, or just unfortunate coincidences? Half a dozen boys from Tucker High School are said to have been busted for burglary.
Reports are coming in regarding Tucker High School students who have allegedly been burglarizing houses when they should have been in class. Sources say at least six boys skipped class on several occasions in recent weeks and broke into nearby houses, stealing multiple items and then stashing them in Cofer Park. One of the boys confessed to his parents, and they then turned him into local police. The boy provided investigators with the names of his accomplices, according to a neighborhood resident. THS Principal James Jackson told Patch he hadn't yet spoken to police about the alleged incidents and could not give any more details at this time. An email to the DeKalb County Police Department's spokesperson was not immediately returned. …

Early morning break-in creates a nasty scene at the popular eatery.
Burglars broke into Main Street's Local No. 7 Restaurant in the middle of the night and got away with little more than a wide screen television set, but they left a messy trail of blood in their wake. A police report states that in the early hours of Nov. 12, thieves smashed a side door's glass with a large rock and gained entry to the restaurant. Once inside, they knocked over a stack of beer bottles and ripped a television set off the wall, creating a large hole. The report says police found "a substantial amount of blood in multiple places, including another TV, menus, and a liquor cabinet." There was also a blood trail of small droplets leading out the side door, down the side walk and across Railroad Avenue, police said. Tucker C.I.D…
