Man Robs Northlake Bank
A man robbed the bank inside Publix and escaped.
A man robbed a Northlake bank Friday afternoon, DeKalb County police said. The man approached the customer counter at SunTrust bank in a Publix grocery store at 2162 Henderson Mill Road at about 4:30 p.m., the police report said. His right hand was covered by a white parcel service envelope. The man pointed the covered hand in the direction of a bank employee and said, "Give me the money. Don't say anything." "No," the employee said, and she ran into an office confined by glass. The man leaned over the counter and searched through the drawers, taking an undisclosed amount of cash. While running toward the store's front door, he dropped $95, which was recovered by the bank manager. The suspect was described as a black male about 6 feet tall…
