The Executive Committee of AAAFDD would like to send very special thanks to the wonderful people at the Tucker Recreation Center and to the many supporters, friends, and families of the community who made the Blue Grass Pot Luck Social another HUGE success. The food was scrumptious and the entertainment provided by Viva and Neil Araki was fabulous and energizing! We appreciate everyone who shared in making this event truly memorable.
Director at Developmental Disabilities Ministries to address AAAFDD gathering.
The special guest at the monthly meeting of the group Answers and Alternatives for Parents of the Developmentally Disabled, (AAAFDD) is Cathy Humphrey, who will address members on Monday, Sept. 24 at the Tucker Recreation Center, 4998 LaVista Road, Room 20, starting at 7 p.m. Humphrey is Director of Church and Community Services for Developmental Disabilities Ministries where she has worked for the last 12 years. She has a master’s degree in Health Care Policy and Administration from Mercer University. AAAFDD is an all volunteer advocacy group for families of the developmentally disabled. It meets every month in Tucker.
