What a party!!!! My husband planned my surprise 30th birthday with Occasions and it was AMAZING! When I walked in thinking I was going to a friend's birthday party, I was greeted by 250 family and friends screaming "SURPRISE!!!!". That was the biggest shock and best feeling in my life.

My husband was very pleased with the courteous service we received from all of the Occasions team. They even set us up in a honeymoon suite at the DoubleTree hotel at the end of the night as a birthday gift! SO SWEET! Thanks Rick & Jay!

We will continue to recommend Occasions to all our friends and families for all of the future events. You guys are AWESOME!

Last month I had my wedding reception here at Occasions. The event space was magnificient. The manager, Rick, was great. He was there whenever myself or my wife needed to speak with him, even at 2 in the morning :-)

The managment worked very well with my event planner, decorator, caterer and dj. Everything went as planned and was executed in a timley manner.

My family, friends and all guests said they had such a wonderful time.

Myself and my wife want to thank all the managment and staff at Occasions for their wonderful service and hard work. We will always remember it!

Did someone report these incidents to the Better Business Bureau?

Cynthia, I think you should celebrate your next birthday in grand style somewhere really nice.

The owners of the Occasion Event Center are liars...I ask all the right questions when trying to book my 60'Birthday party and they lied about another party being schedule that day and book the whole building to the wedding party,yes including the room I paid for. I had to stop and try to get the guy that was running the building to try and correct the issue, he called the manager and he was so rude to me over the phone. I had to put up with that wedding part be all over the building and could not enjoy what should have been a happy occasion for me. That wasn't all that took place the guy that run the building loaded my uncooked for up on the Indian restaurant van..they took my food. It was until I called the police that this IRATE owner would talk to me. They took my money and did care how I felt about it. They destroyed my party date 11/30/12.

This was the venue for my sister's wedding. The owner's promised my sister that his wife would be the wedding planner and be in charge of making sure everything went perfectly on her wedding day. My family wanted to go over some of the events for the night, so we stopped by the venue a week before the wedding. The woman had no idea what my sister wanted. She was completely unaware of any of the details of the wedding. She did not even try to go look at the contract to discuss the details with us. The owner was angry that we had a discussion with the wedding planner, and angrily called my mother and was extremely rude on the phone. He did not feel that anything was wrong with the "wedding planner" not knowing ANYTHING about the wedding when it was only 1 week away. At the rehearsal dinner, the "wedding planner" was no where to be found, and did not offer to help with the planning in any way. On the day of the wedding, we had to recruit members of our family to help get a table for the dinner place cards and set them up. We had to beg for the groom's cake table because they did not have it set up. They did not serve the cake to all guests. My parents' champagne glasses and many other guests glasses were empty for the toast despite our asking them to serve it. You want everything including the details to be perfect on your wedding, and these people just DID NOT CARE AT ALL!! They are extremely unprofessional, and I would never advise you to trust your special day with them.
