Tucker History Book Signing Saturday

The author will sign copies of his book on Saturday and again next month.

The first book signing for "A History of Tucker 1821-1942" by Elias W. (Tim) Timmons is Saturday, Nov. 16 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Our host is the Tucker Reid-Cofer Library at 5234 LaVista Road. 

Timmons will provide a historical perspective of the Tucker area and 44 Tucker pioneer families. The book is comprised of four parts of Tucker history; The Land, Pioneer Life, The Civil War, and Early Pioneer Families which includes the history and genealogy of 44 of Tucker's earliest and most influential families. 

The book will be on sale during the event for $29 and checks made to Tucker Historical Society will be accepted, as well as cash. 

The next book signing event for Mr. Timmons will be Saturday, Dec. 7 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Old Tucker Mill on Railroad Avenue. The book is in stock and available at this location now.
