Browning Courthouse Day Is This Weekend

A Quilt Show is included this year.

The annual Browning Courthouse Day event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in front of the Tucker Recreation Center at 4898 Lavista Road.

This is a Free Community Event. A new activity this year is the Old Fashioned Quilt Show.

"Bring one or more of your favorite family quilts (antique or more recent) to the Tucker Recreation Center Auditorium between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. so they may be displayed and then enjoyed by everyone during the event," said organizer Kathy Powell. "You don't have to be a quilter to participate."

You will find an Entry Form and Display Details on the website
