Week Ahead: Tigers, Beer, Chess, and More

Some of what's happening around Tucker in the next few days.

The DeKalb Board of Education is holding another public meeting. This one is on Monday, Oct. 7 at 5:45 p.m. at the District's headquarters in Stone Mountain. 

The Tucker Chess Club meets Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 5 p.m. at Tucker-Reid H. Cofer Library.

Beverly Noe, a volunteer with Georgia Cares, will discuss Medicare and answer questions on Friday, Oct. 11 at the library. No registration required.

The No. 1 ranked Tucker Tigers and No. 2 ranked Stephenson Jaguars go head-to-head in one of the most anticipated games in Region 6-AAAAA in a CSS televised game on Friday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m. in Clarkston’s Hallford Stadium.

The latest Oktoberfest happens Oct. 12 and 13 in Stone Mountain Village. "German beer, Brats & Pretzels, German folk dancing & music, art and fun."
