Week Ahead: Line Dancing, Biz Lunching, Customer Appreciating

Some of what's happening in the next few days.

You can take a Line Dance Class for beginners at Embry Hills UMC starting on Monday, Oct. 14 at 4:45 p.m. 
  
The National Kidney Foundation will be hosting a free Patient Empowerment Workshop at the Doubletree in Northlake. It will include speakers on issues faced by patients with kidney disease. Radio personality and transplant recipient Melissa Carter of All News 106.7 will emcee the event. Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m.

The Tucker Business Association holds its Monthly Member Luncheon at Aldo's on Oct. 17 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. Guest speaker is Sen. Fran Millar. "His presentation will cover district updates on education, healthcare, tax relief, jobs and of course, DeKalb and the struggles for cityhood in Lakeside and Tucker."


Customer Appreciation Day is being offered by Atlanta Light Bulbs on Oct. 18 at 11 a.m.

Taste of Tucker is this weekend, and so is the International Food & Musical Festival and the Stone Mountain Highland Games. Details on all three coming up.
