Monday Essentials: Tucker 2014

Tucker 2014 is having its first major kick-off meeting on July 8 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Greater Good BBQ, 4431 Hugh Howell Road. "We will be there to talk with you, hear your thoughts and provide information," says their website.   

Tucker Together and Tucker 2014 are working in collaboration to raise the remaining funds needed for a feasibility study to determine Tucker’s viability as a city. Regardless of your views on cityhood, this study is a necessary step to be included in decisions made about the community. 

Thank you to everyone who attended the Tucker Together meetings, shared information with neighbors, contacted legislators and contributed to the feasibility study. Over $21,000 in cash and pledges has been raised so far, but there is little time to raise the remaining $9,000.
