Monday Essentials: Benefits for Breast Cancer Research, Pet Rescue, Tucker 2014
Five things going on in the week ahead.
In celebration of International Dog Day, Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint in Northlake is hosting a fundraiser for Angels Among Us Pet Rescue on Monday, Aug 26. "We will be donating 10% of all sales from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. to Angels Among Us Pet Rescue so that we can assist them in continuing to find loving homes for dogs and cats all over the Atlanta metro area."
Join Tucker 2014 and your neighbors at Local No. 7 on Main Street, Tuesday Aug. 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant will donate a percentage of food sales to the Tucker 2014 effort.
Computer classes continue in Tucker at ProBizTechnology, over the road from Cofer Crossing. On Wednesday, Aug. 28 they're having an Excel Advanced Training and they say it will be "painless."
WellSource Spine & Wellness is hosting a charity event for breast cancer research, Thursday, Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. "This is a community event - you do not need to be a current patient or customer to attend; all are welcome."
Do you want to sharpen your leadership and communication skills? The Toastmasters Club 833 is meeting at Matthews Cafeteria on Friday, Aug. 30 at 7:30 a.m.
