Keller Williams Realty operates a non-profit called Kares 4 Kids.

By Carmel Joseph of Keller Williams Realty in Tucker.

On July 24 of this year we assembled 230 bookbags filled with supplies for the four local schools that we partner with and then delivered them to the counselors on Aug. 8, just in time for the new school year that began this week.

These schools were , , Jolly Elementary and Indian Creek Elementary school. They each received approximately 58 bookbags.

Many of the students in these schools come from families that are unable to purchase and provide these items for their kids when school starts and we acknowledge this need in our area and address it annually.

Being a community service based company, Keller Williams Realty-ATL Partners strives to be involved in the communities where our offices are located and this is one of the many community service projects that we are able to do through our Kares 4 Kids non-profit, started by Marci Fair.

Not only did our office donate 230 book bags in our immediate area, but all of the -Atlanta Partners offices throughout Metro-Atlanta completed the same project, so as an organization we donated over 1860 book bags in total this year alone.

Next year we hope to do more. Click here for more information on our non-profit.
