UPDATE: Historical Society Celebrates Tucker's 120th Anniversary
Local musicians will perform at today's festivities.
Recognizing Tucker is 120 years old this year, it's time to celebrate in a special way. On Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will hold a Donor Recognition Ceremony followed by an Open House at Browning Courthouse.
The Tucker Station String Band will perform with members Kim and Reuben Fair and Christy Hand. Special guests will be Estill Nicholson and Walt Dean.
All these people are local Tucker folks, and amazing musicians. Walt Dean is considered one of the best dobro players in Georgia.
Also, the will have their food truck on site serving BBQ and other fare.
