News Nearby: 'World's Largest Swimming Lesson' to Bring Awareness, Break Record
The Milam Park pool in Clarkston will be participating on Tuesday, June 18, along with several others in metro Atlanta.
"The World's Largest Swimming Lesson" (WLSL) comes to several metro Atlanta pools on Tuesday, June 18 to emphasize the importance of learning to swim - and to make history.
"On June 18th, waterparks, pools and other aquatic facilities around the globe will host local WLSL lessons simultaneously at 11am ET (3pm GMT) in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record," the organization says on its website.
The Milam Park pool in Clarkston is participating in the WLSL from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. June 18 Admission is free for the event.
