Georgia PTA installs new District Director
A local area businessman has been installed by Georgia PTA to lead District Eleven. Keith Lamar becomes the first Afro American male director in the district. He will be responsible for the city of Decatur, Dekalb, Rockdale, and Newton county PTA's.
A graduate of Morehouse College, Mr. Lamar has served over the years as local PTA president of Wynbrooke elementary, Stephenson middleschool, and Stephenson highschool.
Mr Lamar has two children, one of which is assistant DA for Fulton county and the other a promotions specialist for Macy's. Mr Lamar along with his wife Pamela own the Performing Arts & Lifeskills Academy in Lithonia.
