Juwaan Williams' Future Looking Bright With Offers

Yellow Jackets among several teams keen to snag the Tigers quarterback.

Tigers' quarterback Juwaan Williams has received an offer from the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, according to Bleacher Report and the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, adding to several others already on the table.

As if that wasn't enough, National UnderClassmen, a website that tracks college football prospects nationwide who are juniors or younger, has put Williams in its Top Ten list for Georgia at number six. You can see the rankings in our accompanying You Tube video.

Georgia Tech has been eyeing Williams since last fall during the Tigers 15-0 season in which they clinched the Class AAAA state title.

"If I went to Georgia Tech to play quarterback, I’d have a chance to be the king of Atlanta," Williams told the AJC. "Georgia Tech is in the heart of Atlanta, and they have great fans that support the team.”

But it's far from being a done deal. Other early offers have come from South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Kentucky, East Carolina and Central Florida.

And then there are the Georgia Bulldogs. No offer from them yet, but Williams is showing interest in the possibility. “I like Georgia but it’s not like I’m not waiting every day to see if they’ve offered yet,” he said, adding that he plans to commit before the start of his senior year.
