DeMarcus Taylor Lands at Clark Atlanta
Tucker MVP makes his move downtown on a baseball scholarship.
, the first baseball player in DeKalb County to be named MVP in back to back All-Star games, is keeping his success close to home.
Taylor is transitioning from the fields of to those of Clark Atlanta University on a baseball scholarship. His two-time, All-Star success has also become a success in the collegiate arena. Taylor plans to major in sports communication.
He is grateful and humbled by his success both academically and in the game. “I’m very pleased with my high school performance,” Taylor said. “I’m humbled and ready to make an impact for my new team Clark Atlanta University. I would like to thank my parents for the support, God because without him none of this would be possible; my friends that help keep me on track and showed me full support and my high school coaches for believing in me and my abilities.”

The agreement with CAU will be signed in the next few days. For now, Taylor revels in these upcoming changes and the potential they hold by exclaiming, “I’m a panther now and I’m ready to do big things!”
