Booze Now Served at Los Hermanos

Also, news about two other businesses in Tucker.

The award-winning Taqueria Los Hermanos in Tucker has finally done what many customers have been wanting for years - they've started serving liquor.

This means you can now order a real Margarita, made with tequila, as it should be. Owner Raul Vasquez told Patch he has brought in a small variety of liquor brands to start with, and will expand according to demand. "We'll see how it goes," he said.

In other business news, CSR Computers a few doors down from Los Hermanos has installed bollards on the sidewalk in front of the store to prevent another break-in like the recent one they suffered.

In that incident, thieves rammed a truck into the building to gain access, and got away with a load of equipment.

The owners can now relax a bit, employee Rima Gafoor said Saturday. "They're taking a few days off now for the first time since the burglary," she said.

Finally, we bid goodbye to the Crafted Beer Growler on Hugh Howell Road, which closed a couple of weeks ago after a precarious seven-month run. The store was never able to compete effectively with Growler Time on Main Street, which opened on the very same day back in March.
