Tucker Robotics Team Qualifies for World Championship

Local high school team earns Excellence Award.

's Robotigers have received the Excellence Award, the highest honor to be won at a Vex Robotics Championship.

The team has been invited to the World Championships in Anaheim, CA this spring. Sean Csukas, Dawit Abay, Daino Daino, Mario Mignott, Lee Wilkes, and Sean Purcell also won the Programming Championship after having scored the most autonomous points.

Sean Csukas was named MVP by the team's sponsor Charles Kachmar.

In other school news, Tucker High's Reading Bowl Team placed third in the county at Saturday's competition, and placed third in the middle school division.
