Children’s Academy of Northlake Earns NAEYC Accreditation

Tucker school gets national recognition.

Children’s Academy of Northlake has earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) – an organization of early childhood professionals based in Washington D.C.

“Having earned NAEYC accreditation is a sign that Children’s Academy is a leader in a national effort to invest in high-quality early childhood education," said NAEYC's executive director Jerlean Daniel.

Children's Academy, located at 2041 Harobi Drive in Tucker, offers a mix of social, physical and intellectual activities such as music, language development, pre-reading skills and math. To earn accreditation, the center underwent an extensive process, measuring the program and its services against ten NAEYC early childhood program standards and more than 400 related criteria.
