Basketball: Junior Varsity, Middle School Tournaments Saturday
Tucker Middle School has some of the action starting at 10 a.m.
The 13th Annual DeKalb County Middle School Tournament of Champions and the Junior Varsity Basketball Championships begin play on Saturday, Feb. 2.
Play-in and first round games for the Middle School Tournament of Champions begin at 10 a.m. with Champion, Stephenson and Tucker Middle hosting action. The same three sites will host second round play on Wednesday, Feb. 6
at 5 and 6:15 p.m.
Miller Grove High School will host the semifinals and finals on Friday, Feb. 8 and Saturday, Feb. 9.
Saturday action in the DeKalb County Junior Varsity Basketball Championships features six play-in games hosted at Cross Keys and Stephenson High Schools beginning at 10 a.m. The two sites will also host two first round games each.
Other first round action is set for Monday (Feb. 4) as Chamblee hosts Towers in a girls’/boys’ doubleheader at 5:00 and 6:20 p.m.
Redan, Stephenson, Southwest DeKalb and Columbia will all host a girls’/boys’ doubleheader on Wednesday, Feb. 6.
Tucker and Stephenson will host the quarterfinal games on Friday, Feb. 8 with Tucker hosting the semifinals and championship games on Saturday, Feb. 9.
