Voter Registration Deadline
The election is seven weeks away. Many of us will be glad when it’s over so we can move from the campaign to the hard work of moving things forward.
The voter registration deadline for the November 6, 2012 election is October 9, 2012. To receive either a voter registration application or an absentee ballot application, click here. Update on the Campaign from Scott
My team and I have been working incredibly hard to meet voters in the new 81st House District. This past Saturday, we started the day at the Beat the Badge 5k in Tucker. I was proud to co-sponsor this event as it supported the DeKalb Police Alliance.

For the remainder of the day we knocked on doors and introduced ourselves to voters. My goal is to personally meet as many constituents as possible. I really appreciate listening to their concerns and suggestions for how we can do better.
Lastly, we headed over to the Taste of Chamblee. It was a terrific event with great food and entertainment. If you missed it, you should mark your calendar for next year!
