Commissioner Stan Watson's Monthly Legislative Breakfast

Stan Watson, Super District 7 Commissioner will host the monthly Stan Watson Legislative Breakfast on Saturday, June 4, 2011. We anticipate 150 to 200 attendees. The Legislative Breakfast is from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Chapel Hill Middle School. The address is 3535 Dogwood Farms Road, Decatur, Georgia 30034. There is no cost to attend, and registration is not required. June’s Breakfast Sponsor is the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Decatur/DeKalb Chapter. Presentations will be made by Kim Cameron, President, National Coalition of 100 Black Women Decatur/DeKalb Chapter,  DeKalb County Sheriff Thomas Brown,  DeKalb County Police Chief Tim Voss, and Partnership for Southern Equity will provide MARTA updates. 

“Providing an opportunity for citizens to either talk to or hear from those who they elected, about issues that affect them is important to me and my constituents”, says Commissioner Watson.“It is our
mission to identify ways to proactively verses reactively stabilize and improve the lives for those who call DeKalb County home”. 

About the Legislative Breakfast: Since 1997, Commissioner Stan Watson has utilized this platform to connect elected and appointed officials, public safety representatives, DeKalb County services and
resources and the community together. His purpose is to educate, inform, and inspire community-wide opportunities to work together.
