DeKalb CEO Holding Public Discussion on County Government

The meeting in Tucker will be Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Interim DeKalb CEO Lee May is hosting a series of town hall meetings about county government "that will offer the public a participatory platform," according to a press release. 

"Interim CEO Lee May strongly believes a broader dialogue must be held that leads to thoughtful explorations of the form of government that is best for the citizens of DeKalb, which includes, but is not limited to a review of the County’s organizational act that provide for the CEO form of government," the release stated.      

The meeting in Tucker will be Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m. at Rehoboth Baptist Church, 2997 Lawrenceville Highway. 

Two other meetings on the same topic are scheduled: Nov. 21, 6:30 p.m. at Dunwoody High School, 5035 Vermack Road, Dunwoody; and Dec. 2, 6:30 p.m. Porter Sanford Performing Arts Center, 3181 Rainbow Drive, Decatur.
