Woman Bites Man, Gets Arrested

The woman's twin sister called police after roadway incident involving drug use.

A woman bit her husband on the arm while he was driving and ended up being arrested for battery and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to an incident report from DeKalb County Police.Β

Kerri Gunter, 28, of Allenwood Way in Tucker, was taken into custody in the early hours of Jan. 6 at the QuikTrip on Mountain Industrial Boulevard. Her twin sister told police that Gunter had been "shooting up Roxy* in the car" and had bitten her husband on the right forearm as he drove.

The incident started at Jimmy Carter Boulevard and Lawrenceville Highway as the trio were heading east in the man's 2001 Hyundai Accent. The couple had been arguing and Gunter's sister, sitting in the back seat, called 911 on her cell phone as the situation got out of control.
