Two Robbed at Gunpoint at Northlake Apartments

The men, armed with a revolver, robbed a 22-year-old woman early Wednesday morning.

Two men robbed a 22-year-old woman and another victim at gunpoint in the Village at Northlake Apartments early Wednesday morning, DeKalb County police said.

The woman and another victim not described in the police report were walking through the door to a secured-access hallway of the complex's parking deck at 2200 Parklake Dr. at about 4:45 a.m., the report said. The victims heard running behind them, and when they turned around they were confronted by two suspects carrying a revolver.

The suspects demanded their purses and fled back to the parking deck and around the corner. The 22-year-old victim said she followed them, however, and watched them get into a gold or silver mid-2000s Nissan 4-door vehicle, possibly a Maxima or an Altima. She said she could not make out the tag number.
