Car thieves are at it again in Idlewood Acres, according to Gina Edmonds, who lives in the Tucker neighborhood off Idlewood Road.

Edmonds, who has been robbed before, told Patch that the criminals struck early Thursday morning. "The inside of my car was turned upside down. One of my kids had left their door unlocked and I am glad because my boyfriend's car had the window smashed out."

She said that her family had already stopped leaving valuables in their cars but that it's still very disturbing. "Wow. What a bad way to start the day off. We are really sick of this," Edmonds said.Β

Local police were called immediately, but Edmonds was told they were not coming out. "Someone would call us back later."

Last September, thieves struck the Edmonds household twice in the space of two weeks.Β
