Tevin Holliman Back in Hospital for Treatment

Former Tucker footballer returned to Vanderbilt Hospital today, and an arrest has been made in his shooting.

Former Tiger Tevin Holliman is back in hospital for follow-up treatment of injuries sustained in a shooting outside a Bowling Green, KY, bar. Β 

Holliman, 21, in the parking lot of the Lava Lounge, near the campus of Western Kentucky University, which he attends. He was airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN for extensive surgery after the incident and has been recovering at his home in Snellville since being released.

The procedure taking place today, Wednesday, is to remove his tracheostomy tube.

Meanwhile, police in Bowling Green have arrested a local man named Travis Fant in connection with the shootings. He has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault, one count of receiving stolen property-firearm and one count of tampering with physical evidence, according to BG Daily News.

Also injured was Ricardo Singh, 20, who was shot in the chest but is expected to survive.

Holliman was part of the Tucker Tigers team that won the 2008 State Championship title.
