Police Step Up Search for Tucker Bank Robber

The FBI is calling the suspect a "one man crime spree."

A $7,000 reward is being offered for the capture of Artavius Brown, 23, accused of robbing the PNC Bank and the Dollar General store, both in Tucker, and two dozen other armed robberies in metro Atlanta.

FBI Special Agent Stephen Emmett said Brown walked into the PNC Bank on Main Street in Tucker on June 21. "He advised them he wanted to cash a check, put a book bag up on the counter and from that point on he pulled out a weapon and announced a robbery," he said, according to 11 Alive.

Brown is still at large a month later, and has been repeatedly identified by surveillance camera footage in a string of hold-ups in four counties.

"He's basically a one man crime spree," said Emmett. "We're stepping up the hunt for Mr. Brown and the concern is that we'll see him again, that he'll rob again."
